Knoxville Street Medicine Outreach (KSMO) was founded in 2023 by Dr. Danielle Darter to address the healthcare needs of Knoxville’s unhoused population and restore their trust in the healthcare system. We provide free, high-quality medical care by meeting people where they are. We are committed to reducing negative stigma surrounding unhoused individuals while promoting compassion through education and service.
